Its a letter to my past self from present self for the sake of future self;)

I desperately need to write a letter to my younger self, why? because off lately I am working part time as my own therapist, taking matters to my hand, pen, paper and tech.

-“Usually when someone looks back, is either in “aww” of missing childhood, or some regrets, or missing the golden school and college times. But for you, my darling, its different.

I am not writing this in regret that you should have bunked few classes and eat at the newly opened McDonalds in front of your college, which was considered hangout spot, I know you enjoyed classes more than anything. You did what you want to do then, and you still do the same. So I must thank-you for taking responsibility in your choices you made and actually being happy about it.

Neither I will tell you that you should have kept friends closer, or clear misunderstandings rather than just walking away. Back then and even now you know everyone gets to write their own stories, everyone has a version of you and no matter what, you don’t want their story to be your reality.

But as we move forward I would like to tell ” 13 Reasons why I love you” in bullet points, because you know how much we love to talk in pointing system, world is definitely better that way.

So here it goes:-

1- As you already know, age is not directly or indirectly related to having fun, you are happier now, you will be happier in coming times as well.

2- Having money made thing easier, I am proud of you to never let the focus and patience run out during your foundation period.

3- You never listened, you still don’t, back then you lack few judgements and now you have, so don’t ride on emotional train again. Learn few things and in this process unlearn few as well.

4- Also, tell your inner voices to calm the fuck down.

5-

I also want to say, thank-you for believing god back then and thank-you for not obsessing on the idea of god, you have travelled a long journey from god fearing to god loving person. Keep faith but don’t find hope in some humans claiming to be messenger of god, or anyone telling you about its existence or nonexistence. Instead, keep looking inside 🙂

6- Invest more in mental well being, physical well being, fixed deposits and family.

7- Watch Jab we Met at least once a month.

8- Nobody will tell you this, but spend money whenever you feel like. Don’t hold back now. Instead, think of earning more.

9- I am glad that you auditioned for dance to avoid lectures in college. Now you know you don’t like dancing as well as accounting.

10- I am glad few of your crushes were crushed and they never materialised. *sincerely*

11- I am so freak-in happy that you understood the concept of saving since your first salary was credited.

12- I am also glad that you fought, spoke back and yelled no matter what and whenever you were wronged. There is/was no point in controlling anger just to take the shit.

13- And most importantly, I am glad that you have courage to take a step back when needed and jump when required.

And now, just one note-
Live your Extra life ??????
