This is something unique. I always tap on my creative buzz. I live for moments, all sort of different and unique types of moments. I love south Indian food though I myself am a Punjabi!.
I love to explore different types of cultures and create my own unique touch. Well, like everyday, I went for a car ride. The roads were half empty, and half full and were so beautiful. This is my safari ride with my father that I always undertake. For me it is unusual. The green bushes and trees surrounded by the houses makes a beautiful capture.
We are so caught up with our daily lives and other stuff, we forget to live in the now. It is all around you. The garden outside, the morning breezy atmosphere of the park. While driving the car, I captured everything from the trees, broken roads to the street dogs to the birds and the clear open sky. I like to replenish myself with a walk or drive in nature. I gave due respect to the dog on the road and waited for him to pass by. My heart was melted by stopping the car and gazing at the old lady moving ahead with a slow walk. I reposted with a linger and could not move. I waited for her and let her pass away.
I always greet everyone passing by the way from the man in cycle to the passenger to an animal. I love the street dogs and I am writing about them also.
I call it the safari ride!
This was my personal experience. I was mocked and shut up and I could not go to Kenya. But, I decided to find beauty in what I have. I created my own ride. I am also a chef. I lately heard about culinary arts therapy. A person’s well being and mental health can improve through cooking and arts. It truly is effective. You must try it. The smell, tossing, mixing can elevate the mood. Go and try and create your own recipe today. It is magical and therapeutic.
The aim of the ride was to find the leaf. I planned Idli Sambhar for breakfast, I want everything to be in place and sorted.
The Banana leaf is exotic. I like to sit on the floor and eat. The leaf is sacred and it is worshiped. It is driven from the Banyan Tree which is also called as the Kalpavriksha. There are many seasons which keep on changing, with the change of the season the leaves also change and fade away. The leaves in general can help us to create a different array of feelings. We were driving at zero speed in the look-out for that leaf. All the leaves were directed upwards and were moving upwards with a beautiful gaze and sunlight.
Well, I drove the entire car all over the place just for finding the one perfect leaf. Through the lens and window , I was trying to identify the different shapes, sizes and colors of leaves.
The entire floor was muddy and greeny. I never watched so carefully. There was also some degree of flowering which was sporting. The entire scene seemed like I was in a jungle, “The Leafy Lawn”. The journey did not end here. The father went overactive. I continued my journey to find the leaf. Out of all the leaves, we could see a farsighted large tree with tall and long leaves. I spotted it and exclaimed , look here it is!
After that I flipped-flop and rotated the car reaching towards the final destination. We took 2 rounds in the same motion but we could not find the door! Looking closely around , we had to make sure that there was no one around. We were about to break the leaf. I saw an uncle and on the other side my father was on the tree. I kept the uncle busy and sent him inside the house. The father activated and jumped off the tree. Finally the leaf was there with us. I started babbling like a baby that time. Wooww , Yeahhh , I finally got it. I was super excited! It was the largest and biggest leaf I got in my hand.
I still remember how I was belt up and the entire idea was snoozed off. Leave Kenya, I had my share with this ride only!
Finally the food was ready and had it relished it and mummed it sitting on the carpet.
At last , I created the look and shot the click…
