Well, there isn’t really far to walk, but when I do I really look around.
My studio is on the second floor of our home. The windows are south and west facing. There are a lot of things to see from one angle to another. Little artworks dot the walls. Cardboard boxes line the floor. Amber glass jars sit precariously on a shiny wire rack.
This one room in the house is mine, alone. In here I get to be creative. I get to smell things and feel things. I get to make things that people love to feel, mostly shea body butter. What a privilege. When ever I walk through my studio, like I just need to look around, I feel gratitude and pride.
