The unexpected benefits of developing intuitive intelligence.

In 2019, I sent an application to The Institutue for Intuitive Intelligence to embark on a year-long intuition training program.  I was already using my intuition as a life coach but I wanted to move beyond gut instinct and empathic feeling to help my clients achieve long-lasting transformations.

Soon after I sent the application I received an invitation for a 30 minute interview with the Principal of the Institute; Dr. Ricci-Jane Adams. I had been following her on socials close to one year and I felt nervous and excited to meet her. Her energy on the Zoom call was palpable; electric, potent, powerful, and and she was charismatic and etheral.

By the end of the 30 minute interview, I knew I had to be in the program. I was excited when I received news that my application had been approved.

The next 12 months of training were exhilarating, challenging (that’s an understatement!), incredibly intense, and equally rewarding.

I’m now a certified Intuitive Intelligent Trainer, and Teacher (I continued my studies with the Institute to qualify as a teacher), and as I sit here today and reflect back on this journey I’m amazed at what I’ve gained and who I’ve become as a result of increasing my intuition and my commiting to myself.

While the training sky-rocketed my intuition abilities beyond what I ever imagined possible, the unexpected benefits have pleasantly surprised me and continue to unfold.

These include increased compassion for self and others, the ability to get out of my own way, being able to make good decisions quickly, and the ability to transmute fear. I learned the importance of and the practice involved in the self-regulation of emotions and how to create resonance with others through my feeling state.

I’ve become more congruent, as I continually sit with my values, beliefs, ethics and ethos both in my work in my personal life and continue to come back to the practice of aligning my words, deeds and actions with the truth of who I am.

My self-worth and radical self-trust which was painfully lacking at the start of my training, despite the years of self-development and inner work, continues to increase the more I trust and act upon my intuitive intelligence.

I have become a sacred leader who is focused on self-leadership first, being in service to my clients, and not the other way around and running my business from an intuitive and human-centered persepective.
