“Healing by the Beach in 2022”

I moved to California in 2022, it was a spare of the moment thing. I needed to heal by the water. The water and the mountains were such a spiritual experience for me. When I moved to California, it was strictly for healing, and I also started a business in California as well.

When I moved to California, I had just finished at the time my master’s degree. My therapist at the time encouraged me to travel since I had just completed a major milestone. My daughter also had graduated high school 6 months early.

I took my daughter to New York for her high school graduation, we had the time of our life in New York. Once we got back, we then went to visit St. Louis, MO where some of my family reside.

Once we arrived back from St. Louis, MO. I came back from Dallas, Texas and I packed my items and had my items hauled to California. I made a quick decision to leave Dallas, TX.

I had no plan, but at the time I had started my home health agency in LA and my events and marketing business.

As I was registering my businesses etc. in California. I found a place to live in Torrance, California. A beautiful 2-bedroom townhome with a car garage. Prior to me moving into my townhome, I spoke into existence that I wanted a place by the beach and my dream came true! I lived in an area where I was next door to Torrance, CA each and Redondo, CA Beach!

I went to the beach almost daily. I needed to heal. I then found a family therapist. She was simply amazing. We had weekly counseling sessions and she also encouraged me to heal by the beach. She also had me do tapping which helps to release trauma experiences. She was a very good therapist while I lived in Torrance, CA.

My daughter was very focused as well while she lived in Torrance, CA. She went to a dental trade college and worked at a orthodontist cosmetic dental office while attending school.

She missed her prom to do dental exams the weekend of her prom.

We did go back the summer of 2022 to my daughter high school graduation. We drove from Torrance, CA to Dallas, Texas.

However, while visiting Dallas Texas at the time, I was in a terrible car accident my daughter and me. My car was totaled out. We then rushed my daughter to the hospital. Thank God she was ok. The car hit the passenger side where she was sitting. We give the glory to Jesus Christ!

I then went to the dealership since the car was totaled out and not drivable. I had always wanted a BMW for the past 10 years, when I prayed on it, God had given me the go ahead to purchase my dream car! I was approved for a 2016 BMW I428 with no money down and a low interest rate with many add ones at no additional cost! I walked out with favor and my dream car. We then drove back from Dallas, Texas to Torrance, CA.

During the summer break my daughter wanted to spend time on her summer break with her dad, siblings, and grandmother. She spent the summer break and some time with her family in Houston, TX.

This also gave me time to dig deep within, since my daughter spent the summer with her father and other family in Houston. I was able to really focus on working on me and going deeper within. Since, I hadn’t been to the Dr also since the car accident. I found myself in pain, the day of the car accident I only had my daughter see a Dr at the hospital cause I was more concerned about her than me. I said “Healing scriptures daily over my mind, body and spirit. I still did therapy at this time as well. As time went by, I was no longer in pain and or experiencing pain in my body. God had healed me naturally with his word of healing scriptures in the bible. If you believe and have faith, anything is possible.

During my healing journey in California was at a meeting, a lady came in to join the meeting. She immediately saw something within me, that I didn’t see within me. She said “Tierra, you should look into background acting and commercial work. I then asked her “Do you think I would be good at that? Her response was “Yes” they need your professionalism and look. She referred me to this place and the next thing I know is “I was booked, busy, auditioning for roles etc. I had never taken an acting class or even took professional headshots was submitting pics from my phone. I truly enjoyed the background acting roles I did. This was an opportunity that opened for me. So much so, that I was able to bring my creativity, high energy, charm, laugher, and overall tap into a new skillset. I am now in the field, and I love every bit of it!

I also prayed a lot over young and people of age in California. I have a ministry called “own your pain” My ministry was effective while residing in California. I was obedient to the assignments the lord had me on. The lord then had me in consecration, I was fasting, praying, speaking scripture. On the business side of things during 4th quarter I ran into many obstacles and unforeseen circumstances I never experienced. Many projects I was working on the 4th quarter for my businesses fall through. I also had met 3 different investors that sought me out to possibly invest in my business. However, as inflation hit, and companies started laying off. All 3 investors had pulled out. I was devastated to say the least. I decided to close my business Faith Home Health LLC of 7 years. I needed capital to go to the next level. I also closed another Business I had which was “Apex Property Management” I had lost several deals that fell through. When I closed these two Businesses. I literally felt bricks falling off. I left Torrance, Ca in Dec and Moved back to Dallas, Texas. Everything came together rather quickly.

However, me letting go of and releasing what no longer works for me brought much clarity and purpose to what I should be doing on earth.

Healing by the beach helped me to release what was no longer for me to step into destiny of more of my God given purpose.
