- It was a beautiful summers day, we were eating outside my husband’s cousin came for a visit… the atmosphere was amazing I live next to a lake she played the guitar no words necessary. A little while later she suggested I check out yoga with Adrienne. The very next day I decided to give it a go as I had a few health problems, needed an outlet and could absolutely loose a couple pounds. That was 777 days ago. I haven’t missed a day. All were not easy I struggled with sitting still, sore hips, ( they say all our sorrows are stored in the hips ) depression etc not wanting to roll out the mat really, I’m so glad I did. Not only have I transformed on the outside but on the inside as well. Something about yoga helps you to connect deep within yourself. Before you know it you wake up one day transformed. Feeling good about yourself, doing the little things like painting your toenails, manicures, eating well, doing the things you used to do but stopped for whatever reason. Not only do you become nicer to yourself ; you are more loving patient and kind to everyone around you even strangers. Yoga has become a part of my being and I cannot imagine a single day without it. Give it a go, you’ll be happy to rediscover you. Learn to love yourself. Namaste
