So you want to write a spiritual book.
These are the steps I have found.
1. Connect to your soul.
2. Practise writing from the soul perspective.
3. Raise your vibration as high as possible and meditate on what you truly want to say.
4. Start the first draft.
5. Get it edited for structure.
6. Rewrite and rewrite until you find the hook and lesson for others.
7. Start a online community.
8. Start marketing your book.
9. Start researching publishing ( lots to learn)
10. Pick a name for your book by studying the algorithm method ( will people goggle words in the name often)
11. Start practising covers so you get a idea on what you want yours to look like.
12. Start researching publisher submissions.
13. Look into how to formatting and proofreading.
14. Have people read it, even if you change it later.
15. Don’t rush and believe in yourself.
16. Have patience with the process.
17. If you aren’t happy with it, keep self editing until you are.
18. Just because you can publish it for free on kindle and Amazon doesn’t mean you don’t give it the same chance as traditional published books.
19. Get it copy edited and proofread again by professional ( only after you are sure it’s your last draft)
20. Find your reader, through marketing research ( boost posts on fb page n Instagram are very cheap) I have reached up to 50 k people in a $40 advertisement.
21. Share parts of your book, the title and process with your online community to help them feel involved and to create interest for your book.
22. Don’t give up and do free podcasts from others willing to show the way.
23. Learn the writing kraft itself. To develop your own style.
24. Get office 365 it makes spelling and grammar very easy.
25. Listen to the inner voice, after a while the story or poem will appear to write itself in your head or consciousness. Then you will know your soul is writing and dictating it to you. Write it down, even if it’s out of order or makes no sense now, write it down somewhere.
26. Know the first manuscript will look nothing like the finished product. It can take up to 10 rewrites to get it there. Trust you will finish.
27. Enjoy growing into a author or poet.
