My car is dirty and needs to be washed… but I’m not going to do it. Probably won’t take it anywhere either. Maybe if I just think happy clean car thoughts it will magically be clean!

While I’m at it…

I want to be debt-free and make a million dollars. I see everybody else doing it. It can’t be that hard. I know… I’ll just visualize my dream job and my dream life until it comes along.

You know, that law of attraction and manifestation stuff. Right?

I’m sorry to tell you, folks, that isn’t how real life works. If you want something done, you can’t just think happy shiny thoughts and POOF! There it is. It just doesn’t work that way. You have to do something about it.

Stop trying to escape from your life and run off into fantasyland. Playing around there is fun, it’s a fantasy, right? Of course, it’s fun, but where does it get you? Does it get you a clean car? Does it pull you out of debt? Does it make you a millionaire?

No, it doesn’t.

Whatever you want in life you can have it, I’m living proof. I grew up with a single mom to raise me and she always told me to just get a corporate job and be miserable like everyone else. By doing this I’d be successful.

Sure you can go the conventional route and be miserable making somebody else rich. Or you can make yourself rich!

But there is one catch…

You have to make your own life happen.

Maybe you’re asking yourself, “What exactly does that mean Omar?” Or, “How do I do that Omar?” I’m so happy you asked because this is something I can answer. And no, I’m not going to wash your car for you.

You have everything you need inside you. Every person is simply one idea away from being a millionaire. Is the Universe going to magically make you a millionaire? No. But it will give you the grand idea that can make you a millionaire.

Maybe that million-dollar idea isn’t the first one you come up with. Or the second idea, or the third. It might not even be the 10th one, but just because the idea failed doesn’t mean you failed. It means you found out something that wouldn’t work and that makes you a success! You know why? Because that just put you one step closer to your million dollars.

But you have to keep going. The only way you fail at anything in life is if you give up. So if your dream is to be a millionaire and your first, 4th, or 10th idea didn’t work, that doesn’t mean you can’t be a millionaire. You just have to find something else that does work and, keep going until you do.

If you give up and say, “Oh well, I tried.” You won’t then be magically rewarded because you tried. But you will be one step closer. I’ve failed so many times in my life I’ve lost count.

I went from thinking of myself as a loser who spewed negativity out of every pore of my body to a hugely successful businessman. Let me tell you, none of it happened overnight. It was hard work and I had to work at it every day. You will too, but the point is you can do it.

You can be just as, or even more successful than me. But you have to do the work. It won’t be handed to you, you’re going to have to hustle and work. If that scares you, I’m sorry. It is the reality of the world we live in. You aren’t alone. You have me!
