Featured Event: Pema Chodron in NYC

Hosted for the Center for Conflict Resolution at Columbia University, Pema Chodron (recently interviewed by Oprah) will give a Friday evening talk on June 6, and will lead a weekend workshop June 7-8 on the topic of “Practicing Peace in Times of War.” Accompanied by Laura Simms and Richard Reoch and a host of human rights activists, Pema will explore peace on both a personal level and in a global context. And that’s not all: the Center for Conflict Resolution is also offering a year-long mentorship program with Pema Chodron, to integrate the practices presented during the weekend over the long term.
