I will hold you accountable. I will dream with you. I will disagree with you as a matter of perspective. I will push you. I will hold you to a standard that is not your own. I will expect things from you that I can’t articulate. I will show you random kindness. I will want discourse to be a form of seduction. I will see potential in you that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. I will hope for the best. I will remain true through the worst. I will strengthen our bond of friendship with laughter. I will stay steadily by your side through the tears. I will invite the very best of you to shine. I will stand fearless in the face of your shadow side. I will ask to be held by your strong arms. I will rest my head on your heart. I will dance with you for no reason at all. I will create art with you. I will kiss your lips with sacred presents. I will respect your autonomy. I will request your loyalty. I will journey into the unknown with you. I will maintain honesty as a cornerstone of communication. I will listen. And when it comes to loving you with my whole heart, I will.
