Mass Migration of Stingrays

Those of you who are a part of the “viral web” may have already seen some of these amazing photographs of stingrays.

Sandra Critelli was exploring the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and happened upon a group of migrating stingrays. I contacted her and got what has become rare permission to repost the photos. Read about it on Zoobird. You can contact her there and ask questions. Her work is featured in this month’s edition of National Geographic. What a spectacle!
