This Precious Life.

A Celebration of the Life & Passing of David Petit

A moving tribute to an extraordinary man  — edited from footage shot for a new feature documentary on Tibetan Buddhism in the West entitled When the Iron Bird Flies. Shot this past June, the video includes an interview with and scenes of David Petit as well as stills of his cremation. David was husband of Lama Tsultrim and co-founder of Tara Mandala. David’s sudden death in July has left his family, friends, and Sangha saddened by his loss and deeply inspired by the depth of his practice and his commitment to Tara Mandala and the establishment of genuine Dharma in the West.
