Our world is overrun with monkeys.
Well, monkey minds, that is. If you haven’t heard the term, it’s an age-old reference to the unruly, mischievous aspect of our ordinary minds.
I don’t have to spell out the kinds of trouble a monkey mind roaming free can create—we’ve all been at its mercy before.
But have you ever stopped to wonder what life would be like if you weren’t under the control of a crazy monkey? Well, just ask your friendly neighborhood meditator, because that’s what their practice is for.
I’d love to see the world free from tyranny of the monkey kind, so I’ve created a quick two-minute guide to how it’s done. Starting with the present moment, we can all begin to loosen the grip our monkey minds have on our lives.
Freedom is ours to be had. Down with the monkeys!
