Alyssa Mandel is both a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. She founded the Mandel Center of Arizona in 2003 with the goal of empowering her clients through a meaningful, therapeutic relationship. Alyssa specializes in helping patients address and manage eating disorders and OCD/Panic Disorders/Anxiety.  

She holds standing membership with the following organizations: ADAA (Anxiety Disorders Association of America); ANAD (National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders); APA (American Psychotherapy Association); IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals); NASW (National Association of Social Workers); NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association).

She also won the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty Award in 2008 for her renowned work in social work and psychotherapy.

Alyssa Mandel holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a Master’s of Social Work from Columbia University in New York, NY. As a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist, Alyssa is dedicated to working with people no matter their age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or creed.
