Heroína Figuera lives in Trinidad and Tobago, a twin-island republic in the Caribbean Sea off the Eastern coast of Venezuela. She was born in Venezuela and migrated to Trinidad at the age of 15 to learn English, and as life had it, she never went back. Regrettably, she disconnected from her people and culture when she arrived in Trinidad, but made all efforts to reverse that decision. Her ancestors are all from Venezuela on both parental lines and are descendants of the European Spanish, Warao Indian, and African.

She has a curiosity and interest in the spirit world and how it impacts our lives, and is currently studying Ancestral Medicine, as she loves to deeply dive into understanding who she is and what the gifts that will help her contribute to bettering the world for all of us are. It’s her wish to arrive at a level of understanding and relating to the ancestors and to become a practitioner when the time is right.
