Karen Anderson has spent more than 25 years caring for children and adults in healthcare.  She studied at the University of Delaware and graduated with a bachelor’s in nursing.  In more recent years she obtained her master’s degrees at Walden University and is currently practicing as a Nurse Practitioner caring for the underserved population of Monmouth County.  She has held many different leadership and educator roles as a nurse and enjoys providing people with direction and acting has a mentor.  Her passion for the wellbeing of others and her interest in fitness and nutrition inspired her to become a personal trainer in 2008.  To bring balance to her training she became a certified Yoga instructor in 2011 and additional education as a Meditation Specialist.  She lives in New Jersey close to the ocean with her spouse. She enjoys gardening, turning trash into treasure, the beach, walking the dogs and many other creative activities that stimulate personal development.
