Glen Callahan: Student, practitioner, and teacher of Vedanta philosophy for over a decade. Glen is originally from New Zealand, and now resides in LA as co-founder of the non-profit organization Vedanta Institute Los Angeles. Glen earned his Masters in Chemical Technology from Massey University (NZ), then spent several years working in the dairy and pharmaceutical industries, the financial services sector, and human resources. In 2006 he took up residence at the Vedanta Academy, India, studying under contemporary Indian philosopher A. Parthasarathy. He completed the three-year residential course, obtaining a Diploma in Vedanta Philosophy, then remained until 2014 as a post-graduate student to deepen his study & practice. He has Vedanta philosophy teaching experience in the US, India, NZ, and Mauritius, conducting programs for the private individuals, businesses, wellness spas, high-schools, and universities. He also blogs on the theory and practical application of Vedanta. Glen also has over 15 years experience as a yoga practitioner, and 6 years teaching yoga, pranayama, and relaxation. While at the Vedanta Academy, he worked with Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute to design a range of yoga schedules for students and guests of the Academy.
