Palin reads all of them. [Couric video]

I called Nick Rosen on the way to the Boulder Theater tonight, excited to tell him how many folks I’d called and texted about Enlighten Up. We’d also blogged and featured on our web site as event of the week, etc. I was pretty hopped up on the fact that an ol’pal’o’mine was starring in a movie. The movie was brilliant, I wasn’t disappointed.

What was funny, though, was as I rode along the bike path, Nick didn’t want to talk about the fact that he was about to be exposed, examined in front of 600 viewers at the Theater—he wanted to play the below interview snippet between Katie Couric and Sarah Palin for me, which he did, giggling the whole time in a sort of miserable way…as I biked past the Boulder Creek, the Teahouse, and finally reached the Theater, where Nick and I had a half-smoke

PALIN: I’ve read most of them again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media —

COURIC: But what ones specifically? I’m curious.

PALIN: Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.

COURIC: Can you name any of them?

PALIN: I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news.

I mean, how hard is that one to bullshit? Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Nat’l Geo, People, US Weekly (if you’re desperate, or feeling honest)…can’t you throw out one or two? The Anchorage Daily, the NY Times?
