 Here’s the story about how Chogyam Trunpga, the mad saint of modern American Buddhism, appeared in the latest Rambo flick, as reported by TheWorstHorse, an awesome web site/blog. Whether or not you consider tattooing Buddhist teachers on your arm to be ‘mindful’ or ‘spiritual materialism,’ one shade better than pop depictions of James Dean or Mao…that’s another story.
