Update: Sunflower still closed, says “closed for repairs.” So we can only hope for the best. The cafe at the Library closed, for now, too.

Heard Sunflower, granddaddy of Boulder green restaurants, went out of biz. Say it ain’t so!?

No other info at this time. Hoping it’s not true. Also heard, via Boulder Magazine, that Scotch Corner Pub has just closed.

I am sad about both of them if this is true. I wish the owners and employees well as they move on to their next endeavors.

Just got the official e-mail from Sunflower about their closure. Check your inbox if not I can forward it to you.

  4. I loved the Scottish Corner Pub, but did think of it as winter food–it's heard to crave pot pie in midsummer. I'll miss the 'neeps!

  5. Steve Jones says:

Maybe NOW they will give the "Best Vegetarian Restaurant" award to an ACTUAL vegetarian restaurant! Not a stinky-fish, dead-buffalo monger, steak-slinger like Sunflower was. So much for "local organic cruelty".

  6. Exactly how did you figure all this out about this topic? I enjoyed reading this, I’ll have to visit other pages on your site straight away.

I would like to thank you for the efforts you have put in writing this site. I’m hoping the same high-grade blog post from you in the upcoming as well. Actually your creative writing skills has inspired me to get my own web site now. Really the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up is a great example of it.
