This is SUCH a wonderful story. Thanks for posting!

This is a wonderful story but it is ironic that the governance of The Elephant Sanctuary did not learn the lesson present by Tarra and Bella. The board of directors have fired founder and CEO Carol Buckley with no good explanation to the supporters. The donations that were intended for the elephants are now paying a high-priced CEO with no elephant background but is a non-profit consultant, attorneys for the legal fight they are now embroiled in, and a PR firm to try to smooth it all over. Carol Buckley has been banned from visiting Tarra and evicted from her house on sanctuary property. It is a damn shame.
