How to Boycott BP.

Bought gas lately? Then you’re supporting BP.

It’s next to impossible to boycott BP. It’s also easy.

As reported in The New York Times, national calls for boycotts of BP stations are relatively ineffectual: BP sold it’s last filling station a few years back. You may be preventing a few cents from entering BP’s wallet, but that’s all.

And if you fill up at a rival station, you may be giving 80 cents on the dollar to BP—it’s their gas, oftentimes, even if not labeled.

So how to hurt BP?

Drive less.

    use less gas!!! amen.

  2. libhomo says:

Actually, the Big Oil companies get nearly all the profits from gas stations. The station owners make money from the stores inside, not the gas.

Boycott petroleum, boycott the brands(now focusing on BP) to UNdo what their lies("PR") spends billions per second to fabricate.
Enforce legislation that holds people responsible and promote and encourage the promotion of MORE strict laws on polluting industries: petroleum, nuclear, nano, and chemical(pharmaceutical and agricultural)
Be heard! Complain! Exercise ethics on your part and disallow others to violate ethics without notice.
Be conversive and draw attention to these issues.
EVERYTHING makes a difference. Have you ever been stung by a tiny wasp? Despite its comparable size, it hurts!
Be effective, focused, and persistent in pursuing your vehement objections to these conflagrant violations of MORALS and ETHICS. Insist upon promises being kept, timeliness in fulfilling obligations, and preventive measures to ELIMINATE pollution incidental to acquiring, processing, and shipping of products which when consumed lead to more pollution. Progress toward the ELIMINATION of ALL such consumables(energy, transportation, and goods).
