Riding Bicycles = True Love

At least that’s the idea behind Bike Pool, which crafted this smart, eHarmony-esque promo video that will make any bike lover smirk.

“I wasn’t just looking for a someone to ride with. I was looking for someone to ride.”

The video was actually part of a recent YOXI Pilot Competition, an interesting intiative that brings writers, strategists, designers, and storytellers together to tackling social issues through creative problem solving. YOXI takes on issues like food, reusable packaging, and of course, bikes. The ideas get wrapped up into a video, and the website then encourages visitors to vote on their favorite. The winning team gets $5000 to donate to a charity of their choice that’s related to the topic from the brief.

Unfortunately the “ride of your life” didn’t score the top ranks, but the winning idea is pretty cool as well.
