You remember: young adventurer makes a mistake—going out alone without letting anyone know where he’s going. Boulder falls on arm. Cuts off his own arm with a dull knife. Lives to tell about it.

I had dinner with Aron Ralston once, at Mountain Sun in Boulder. Sweet gent.

James Franco (is everywhere, in every movie I want to see):

First official teaser trailer for Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours — the Simon Beaufoy-penned big-screen adaptation of mountain climber Aron Ralston’s true story. The film, which stars James Franco, Amber Tamblyn, Kate Mara, and Lizzy Caplan, is set to be released November 5.
