Leaders Causing Leaders Adds Anna Getty, John Friend, Richard Condon and Other New Visionaries in Art, Business, Science and Spirituality to Interactive Conference Agenda

More of the world’s change-makers to gather in Long Beach, November 6-7, to inspire ideas and revolution at the non-profit’s inaugural conference

LOS ANGELES (OCTOBER 13, 2010) – Leaders Causing Leaders, a gathering of over 100 luminaries in the fields of art, science, business, spirituality, self-improvement, human rights and environmental action, announced today the addition of several key speakers, panelists and workshop leaders to the agenda of its inaugural conference including holistic lifestyle expert Anna Getty, Anusara yoga founder John Friend and Landmark Forum leader Richard Condon. These figures join other inspirational icons appearing at the conference such as Joie de Vivre CEO Chip Conley, ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ Publisher Mark Victor Hansen, alt-pop rocker Jason Mraz and Byron Katie, who will host a two-hour session of her Oprah-endorsed ‘The Work.’ Removing the traditional pretensions from the concept of ‘leadership,’ the non-traditional conference features two days of exploration on social entrepreneurship, conscious lifestyles, compassionate action, a Youth Leadership program, live concerts and more taking place November 6-7 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

“In these last weeks before Leaders Causing Leaders, some of the most amazing and inspiring new visionaries are joining our mission – and this new paradigm will catalyze a shift in the way we govern our lives and how we create change,” said Leaders Causing Leaders founder Kenneth Schwenker. “People want to make a positive impact on the world and this event is an amazing opportunity to learn from some of the incredible leaders who have successfully made their mark.”

Among the interactive workshops at Leaders Causing Leaders is a live Challenge Day presentation led by the program’s creators, Rich and Yvonne Dutra-St. John. Now in its fourth decade of confronting real-life hostilities among high-school youth, Challenge Day is enjoying newfound notoriety as the subject of MTV’s groundbreaking hit series If You Really Knew Me.  Dedicated to creating environments where young adults feel safe, loved and celebrated, the Dutra-St. Johns will invite teen and adult attendees to lead by example, examine their personal philosophies and expose their own misgivings to help them ‘cross the line’ into a new way of thinking.

The conference will also include ‘Designing Your Vision for the World’ led by C.A.S.T. (Conscious Action Starts Today) creator Joseph Jacques and Anchor the Dream founder Laura Fox. The workshop fosters the identification of an individual’s mission and goals using filmmaking as a metaphor for living and executing a compelling story while acting as a seminal character in the stories and visions of others. The most compelling visions will earn an extended mentorship and guidance from Leaders Causing Leaders key speakers.

Other speaker and panelist additions to the program include acclaimed executive and lifestyle coach Debbie Robins; former president of the Institute of Noetic Sciences James O’Dea; Café Gratitude founders and abundant lifestyle experts Matthew and Terces Engelhart; leadership expert Lance Secretan; music video director and community technology advocate Jeffrey Abelson; and Elevate Films and Film Festival founder Mikki Willis. A comprehensive list of the leaders and visionaries offering guidance at Leaders Causing Leaders 2010 is available at http://www.leaderscausingleaders.com/wordpress2/speakers-page
