“If We Amplify Everything, We Hear Nothing”

“A Clarion call.” “For action.”

“We live now in hard times, not end times.”

Great quote, a comment actually, via our friends at Zen Moments Dot Org:

“Saw this comment on YouTube: ‘This is the kind of speech you want to see quoted in future history books. And these beautiful words were not given by a world leader, president, or congressman. They were given by a stand-up comedian who has a comedy show on TV. We are at a strange time in the kingdom, when the wisest, sanest, most rational voice of them all is that of the court jester.'”

I watched the whole speech via livestream—this was, aside from a few brilliant comic moments that sent up liberal and conservative media hacks equally—“24 hour political pundit perpetual panic conflictinator”the 12 minutes that made it all worth it, and that the hundreds of thousands of Rallyers had come to hear.
