MLK: Racist? ~ Joe Yeoman

MLK and his band of Jews, Communists, and Evil, Evil, Rappers.

As martinlutherking.org would lead you to believe, MLK is no Saint, no leader-of-men, no civil-rights-hero, and is in fact, a dirty, evil liar, fraud, etc. Basically, the website combats peace and positive thinking, the stuff dreams are made of, with hate speech. The website’s prerogative is expose MLK and to get the holiday repealed. (Please check out the website; it’s pretty awful.)

It comes with wonderful propaganda that you can hand out at your school: “This is the time of year many students are asked to write reports about Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement.” They contain such memorable quotes as: “Which holiday honors a philanderer, a drunk, a liar, a plagiarist, and a cheater?”, and “The government enforced Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday celebrates a sexual deviant, communist and plagiarist. Learn what the schools are not allowed to teach for fear of political persecution.”

The website even tries to connect MLK to rappers and their contribution towards death and hate. Basically, they state that MLK and his image inspire racism against whites. (They also go onto state that the Jews are the reason for the Civil Rights Movement and anti-Christian hate.  The author of the site also takes time to attack Kwanzaa by stating “Now, the point: There is no part of Kwanzaa that is not fraudulent.”Again, this is the same evil song-and-dance as before.)

Clearly, this website is just promoting the hate that Dr. King fought so hard to destroy. They are trying to re-create the racial barrier between whites and everyone else that we had in the 50s. They probably want us to go back to that “Golden Age”.

We can’t. This is a country of freedom, and Dr. King fought for freedoms that were once thought imaginable. His image, no matter how much mud is slung around, will never be tarnished. He inspired change on a global scale.

Now, I understand that all historical figures have blemishes on their resumes. (George Washington distilled his own whiskey; Thomas Jefferson had slaves, etc.) If a person digs deep enough, and then does some mental gymnastics, they are always going to hit dirt.

It is just sad that there are people in America that are pro-racism. Who would really want to start a website like this? They are truly awful people. They claim they want the “truth” to come out. Just let it go. We are closer to equality in this country. And that is something to celebrate.

For this MLK day, I am fighting for King’s message: to stop hate. Martin Luther King was a great man, and someone who changed America for the better. All of us, especially owe him a debt of gratitude.
