“I love you so much Sally Jane.”

An hour a day.

A young man, suddenly trapped inside his body, re-emerges whole after 15 months.

“It changes the patient in 20 minutes from what they were to who they are.”

Worth spreading the word on this one, if you know anyone who might know anything and could help.

Last year Sam – a vibrant, good looking 24 year-old man – was playing soccer when he suffered a series of massive strokes that left him fighting for his life.

Doctors believed that if Sam survived he would be unable to walk or talk.
Australian Story shows how the love and persistence of Sam’s fiance and family has led to an amazing medical discovery and ongoing battle with health professionals.

I don't know if anyone has a way to get in touch with this family, but they should read "The Brain that Changes Itself" by Norman Doidge, M.D. It's an amazing book about neuroplasticity and the healing that can occur after strokes.

  5. Laura says:

Wow, my heart goes out to them.. Both are so beautiful, strong and incredible. May they be blessed with health and good recovery.
