Last night my wife Jane and I went to experience Kirtan artist extraordinaire Ragani.  (We just discovered that she lives just a few miles from us in Milwaukee.)

To prepare, I watched the following delightful Kirtoon on Ragani’s very informative website:

“They chant the mantras over and over”

“The same words over and over?”

“And people pay for that?”

“Why would I want to do that?”

“It is very calming.”

“I am already calm.”

“But this is different. It creates a deep relaxation in the mind and body. It helps you quiet the mind. And it can transform you.”

“What do you mean?”

“It shifts your energy. It rearranges your insides.”

“Will it rearrange my insides?”

“Only if you want.”

“Does that cost extra?”

Well, you get the idea! Watch it. If you like this one there are more at Ragani’s YouTube site.

Just posted to "Featured Today" on the Elephant Yoga homepage.

  2. Hey Bob, Singing kirtan eases the mind and brings greater clarity to your moment, to your day. Hey, this is worth a lot and better deal than a pint of Gelato,
or double cheese pizza, or hey….a drag of weed and loose some more brain cells?

Loving regards to you wife. She is a Darlin’ one!,
