Abortion is not a partisan issue.

We can, and will, argue about abortion ’til the cows come home. It’s a convenient wedge issue for politicians and their fans. But it is not, in fact, a partisan issue. We’re all united in wanting to reduce the number of abortions (and we have, world-wide, over the last decades). ~ ed.

Rate of abortion is highest in countries where practice is banned.

In Africa and Latin America researchers found that 95 to 97 per cent of abortions were unsafe. Read more over at the Independent.
