Occupy aggressive activism.

A little free advice for the agro activists among us from Lao Tzu:

“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self transformation.”

Occupy aggression.

For more:

1: “Aggression creates aggression,” said a far more effective activist than any of us.

2. “Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” ~ Buddha

3. Funny

4. Not sure how I feel about this sentiment via Malcolm X. You?.

5. It’s what they say in Buddhism: you can’t be an activist until you’ve tamed yourself, or you just create further aggression in the world.

6. From the Department of Counter-productive Hypocritical Hippie Activist Blowhards.

7. Activism plus meditation is effective. Activism plus meditation is not however an excuse to stop being active. Many spiritualists aren’t active. We need to do both: create peace in, and out.
