Yoga or not yoga?

It’s hard to take a photo of yoga.

It’s easy to take a photo of a yoga posture.

Is a posture like triangle pose, yoga?

Sometimes yes.

Sometimes no.

And that’s why we’ve confused the yoga with the posture.

Doing a lot of yoga postures? Maybe.

Doing a lot of yoga? Maybe not.

But that’s okay.

With all the people around the globe now stepping onto a yoga mat and doing postures, never before have we had such a groundswell of opportunity to be yoga, collectively.

Wow… imagine that…

Turn your yoga into yoga today. Here’s how:

As soon as you referred to asanas as tools, I knew I liked you 🙂

Well said Kara-Leah! Know that YOU are your thoughts, they also are tools …

  5. Sally says:

whoops, the NOT disappeared … your are NOT your thoughts …

  6. Vision_Quest2 says:

So, maybe the reason I have advanced … though hardly in asana, is the degree of mindfulness in the moment I bring to (in ascending order) my physical practice .. oh and chanting, even more of dancing, a good percentage of my pranayama and practically all of my meditation …

I suppose I can rest easier now, knowing that I do lots of yoga …

Yoga is a feeling, not a fashion statement.

Thanks for the talk, Kara-Leah …
