I belatedly heard about the passing of one of my friends, a Boulder hero, leader, role model, political & climate activist, artist, and just an amazing human being Dan Friedlander. He inspired and mentored many of us who were privileged enough to know him. When he told us about his illness, I asked what I could do to help.

Hi Joel.

Thanks. I have a short list of things that you can do. You might even need some help, although they are not too complex.

1. end global warming, ideally before Christmas
2. get folks more oriented to facts and solutions. this might take till next election
3. bring back the American Spirit. this is so easy it shouldn’t take more than a week or two.

Joel, because the above might take some effort I believe a respite is deserved. details below.
