Better-than-Starbucks Vegan Green Tea Latte.

I steer clear of Starbucks.

Sugar, milk, foam, whipped cream, more sugar? No thank you.

But that’s not to say I don’t enjoy a special drink from time to time. I just want one that doesn’t include gross ingredients and that I can sip with peace of mind.

Enter my vegan green tea latte! I don’t have the time to prepare it every day, but when I do make it, it always brings a smile to my face.

Try it and let me know what you think!

Vegan Green Tea Latte

Ingredients:

2 scoops matcha green tea powder

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 packet stevia, if desired

Instructions:

Warm milk on stove top until it is almost boiling. Place the matcha powder and stevia in the warmed milk. Whisk thoroughly to get rid of any chunks of powder and enjoy!

What scoop? Little scoop…big scoop….medium sized scoop? Love green tea and green tea ice cream so I can’t wait to try this.

Is there a particular brand of matcha green tea powder you recommend? Is it something readily available in grocery stores?
