Watching the World Die in Time-lapse. ~ Paige Vignola {Video}

We all know that the area of the world’s forests is declining day by day. But are we aware just how much damage has been done?

The Climate Desk, a collaborative journalistic enterprise dedicated to investigating and reporting on the effects of climate change, has released a video exploring the rate of deforestation around the world through the medium of Google Earth.

It is truly frightening.

While some of the damage is the result of natural disaster, most is man made and preventable.

Be prepared to be horrified and, hopefully, electrified to make a change.
