Why I’m Calling for a Revolution.

So I’ll admit it.

I’m not a guru. Could I even call myself a spiritual warrior? What is that for Christ’s sake?

I am just me. And the “me” that I refer to is a non-conformist. If I was a conformist I would be boring. I have opinions, and I don’t like what I see around me. The more I learn, the more it stinks. It’s a great big stink, the biggest stink ever! I don’t claim to be anything, I just want to highlight the injustices I see around me, and present a forum for the creation of a new civilization based on fairness, ethics and justice for all.

Our history is littered with horrors—and it has to end.

From dropping nuclear bombs on cities, to the creation of ever-more weapons of mass destruction, chemical warfare attacks on innocent people, and Government-sponsored state terrorism…it never ends.

I’m not a rebel (that sounds so James Dean). I just want answers, clarity and to live in a better world. Is that too much to ask? Do we even have rebels left? Whom are our rebels and what are they fighting for?

What is the cause that galvanizes people into acts of civil activism, like the Vietnam war in the 1970’s? We may not have one right now; perhaps we should create one?

It amazes me the power to pull the wool over people’s eyes by illusionist acts. Our Governments excel at toothless mind-control. And no this is not another conspiracy theory derided by those in power. They would do that, wouldn’t they?

These same leaders have yet to apologize for the deathly destruction caused in Vietnam. I lived in Vietnam in 2011-2012 and encountered the sweetest of people I’ve every come across. How could leaders order chemical warfare being used on innocent people – that still causes cancer, disease and suffering four decades since the war? Robert McNamara admitted 3.4 to 3.8 million Vietnamese people were killed in the war. For what?

How can we view the United States as a savior of freedom when it has extended so much violence and terror over innocent people on all sides in the 20th century and beyond?

The silent majority will no longer be silenced. Our leaders have exploited the oppressed and less fortunate for aeons. Enough is enough.

From corrupt politicians to corporates stealing in the name of democracy, where does it end? With winner takes all, the stakes are high.

It doesn’t take a genius to call into question the basic morality of the men (and a few women you can count on one hand)—those who have been our leaders. The means do not justify the ends when you’re talking about chemical or nuclear warfare.

Our public policies support power, they do not support people, humanity, nature or the good of all.  Until that changes, we are all doomed to suffer.

The wealth and power is still the hands of the privileged few. Entrenched in our system is injustice.

We need a cleansing of our sins, a collective cleansing of our minds.

We put the retention of our standard of life as paramount. Is it better to keep your job than to destroy the environment?

That kind of short-term thinking is how we got to ourselves into this mess.

Let’s consider nuclear warfare programs—a grand evil scheme, so evil that it dwarfs all before it. We have created weapons to destroy our entire world in building a global hegemony—an evil empire willing to go this far. For what aim? To what end?

Who is this enemy?

The public is moving beyond being susceptible to ridiculous propaganda en masse.

What If…

What if religion was each other?

If our practice was our life?

If prayer was our words?

What if the Temple was the Earth?

If forests were our church?

If holy water—the rivers, lakes and oceans?

What if meditation was our relationships?

If the Teacher was life?

If wisdom was self-knowledge?

If love was the center of our being?

There is not a place on earth that is not sullied with human or animal blood; she must therefore submit to a purification—and it is for this, that certain places will be immersed, while others will surface unexpectedly as examples for all.

“The first step is to penetrate the clouds of deceit and distortion and learn the truth about the world, then to organize and act to change it.” Noam Chomsky.

The liberation can no longer be postponed. Humanity must prepare itself for great trials that are inescapable and are coming to bring an end to egoism; welcoming unity, connection and a common purpose.

It is the end of an epoch; a new order will substitute the old, an order in which Love will reign on earth.

So be it! It is time—It is time for us all to wake up. It’s time for us all to stand together.

This is why I’m calling for cleansing—A Revolution from Within.
