Even the moon casts shadows.
This full moon had me up against the wall all day. She hid behind a cloud curtain as the heavy snow fell, and now she is creating low dark shadows across my backyard. The lines cast on the snow reveal all that stands between the moon and me.
I stand in awe of each full moon. I choose to. I could choose not to notice, to remain unaware, but I enjoy the cycle and the return. Each month the moon says to me, “I am here, where are you?” And I stand in her shadows, as I do today…perfectly imperfect.
I am here.
We all experience darkness; find ourselves in the shadows at times. If we just step a little to once side, we are once again in the light. We are here.
