It’s uber secret—whether you’re on the “no fly list” or not—and you only find out once you’ve purchased a ticket and get denied access to the flight.

Getting off the list is even harder and the ACLU is currently working on the behalf of 13 american citizens, four of them veterans, to reestablish their liberty.

Security at the expense of liberty is not an indicator of democracy. Unfortunately, using fear as a tactic to manage behavior in the USA is becoming a common practice.

This is not a likely scenario for the average citizen but it takes some of the sting out when we are informed and aware.
