Keep Your Metaphysical Hands Off Me. ~ Michael Mark {Poem}

450px-Flickr_-_Nicholas_T_-_Inhale

My Plank was a noodle.

My Mountain pose was a mudslide.

My Goddess was plebeian.

This out-of-body experience

was not mine.

I was in the hands of another.

Some yogi or yogini in the studio was

manipulating me with unkind intentions.

Did I take their favorite spot?

Was my Ujjayi breathing creating sound waves

from the wrong ocean?

Even my Happy Baby had colic.

And in Savasana, on my back,

I lost my balance and was knocked out.

Unconscious.
