Not only is she strikingly beautiful, she paints image after image with sand, with her palms and fingers, while audience views her creation from a projection screen.
She creates image after image, drawing to heart piercing music, that matches the spirit of the images as her fingertips and palms craft the sand into powerful images, telling the story of the people.
Her body gestures add to the mood of the pieces, and the entire performance is a dance, a song, a story, a poem, a painting, a history lesson.
She shows the world the sentiment of what the poet, William Blake meant when he wrote, “To see a world in a grain of sand,” This beautiful artist brings the audience to tears and viewers left in complete awe.
