My Favorite Mother’s Day Song. ~ Ashleigh Hitchcock

Migrant Worker

Mother’s Day is a celebration for everyone who has a mother.

That’s everyone! Yay moms!

Motherhood is a serious responsibility, where life and death decisions are made everyday. For the past 44 years, in the United States, pregnant girls have had the legal right to decide if they would like to have an abortion or birth a baby.

There are many factors to weigh and every woman will make her own choice. Period.

My favorite Mother’s Day song is about a young lady who decides to keep her baby, despite her friends telling her it is a mistake.

Take it away Lauren Hill.

“No woman can call herself free until she can choose consciously whether she will or will not be a mother.”
~ Margaret Sanger
