The Good News. {Video}

Sometimes my heart needs some good news.

I will always fight the good fight and do my part to bring attention to what is wrong with the world, but sometimes my heart needs a reprieve from the good fight.

To my heart’s rescue is the story of Zalushka, a Siberian tigress in captivity in far eastern Russia. Zalushka is an Amur tigress, a diminishing species, who was found orphaned in the wild as a cub, her mother likely killed by poachers. She was rehabilitated and liberated in part with the aid of the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).

Watch her amazing story and heal your heart. Together we dream of a world that balances animal life and rights in a natural habitat with an enlightened society.
