A Heart’s Revival. ~ Maegan Gonzales {Poem}

Photo: jinterwas (edited to remove text)

Some births are painful,

ugly even
To those, I say:
Emerge with Faith & Grace.

Oh, but do, I beg of you
Delight in the sweet birth’s barter:
A most joyous exchange
for still moments of deafening,
thundering silence
where illuminated darkness is the finest light.

However it may be
Peel back
Shed the skin you’re slinking in
Awaken to your own heart
Re-birth

I am so grateful for all that is.
Let us not disregard any encumbrance as we seek out
the lightness of being.

You and I, so small
Yet of something so big
We are big, so do everything in love
Honor each other.
Honor yourself as you are right now.

Take that awareness &
You Will Grow.
