This is the call,
For those of you,
Who yearn to be free.

To run through expansive fields,
Breathing in the fragrance of purple lavender,
Bright red poppies and yellow daffodils.

To feel the cool wind caressing your hair,
To feel the fresh breeze on your face.

To breathe in, in, in
And feel yourself expanding.

To feel yourself believing.
Becoming and being,
Being yourself,
Being free.

Free to dream,
Free to be,
Free to live the way you want to live.

Free of expectations,
Free of rules,
Free of musts and shoulds.

Free to finally be yourself.
Free to do what you want to do,
In the way that you want to do it.

This is a call from within,
To create and live each day,
And each moment,
In a way that sets your heart on fire and
Allows you to feel truly alive.

This is the time to live your life.
Listen to that quiet voice within,
and know that the time for joy is now.

* I wrote this poem recently as a dedication to my Nana, during the last few days that she had alive on this planet. My Nana always inspired me to be happy, and to do what makes me happy.
