Morning Yoga. {Poem}

morning light

Just four walls create sacred space

Inhale the tide comes in
Exhale waves crashing on the sand
Reaching to the sun morning glories opening

Just four walls create sacred space
The hymn of OM sounds three times
Look inside for your answers
As opening a holy book

Just four walls create sacred space
Waves of doubt and strength together
Pylons stand strong under the pier
Bodies choose fight or float each thought of undertow

Just four walls create sacred space
No pews no pulpit needed
Sweat starts to glisten like
Stained glass reflections on the floor

Just four walls create sacred space
Thoughts swim in our heads like school of fish
This way, that way, up and down
Give and take your wisdom with each tide

Just four walls create sacred space
Laying in the sun driftwood drying out
Each imperfection of the wood blessed
Divine beauty seen as not before
