Don not despair, my dear, for love is everywhere.

Where? Why, over there.

And right here.

Don’t you see?

It’s how you see—not what you see.

It’s in how you look at what you see.

 

Look past the flaws, the faults, the frailties

In others. In yourself.

Look for the intrinsic goodness

That doesn’t always get expressed,

But lies beneath the surface.

Do not be fooled by all the sins,

For they disguise the beauty and love that lie within.

 

Do not be afraid, for it is safe

To see love. To be love.

Be it and you will see it, everywhere.

 

For it is there, just waiting for your detection.

You need only wipe the sleep from your eyes

And adjust your focus.

Then you will see—

No need for hocus pocus,

manipulations, prayers or pleas.

 

Just choose to see it and then you will feel it,

For love is everywhere.
