Finally! A travel size Yoga Mat. {April Fools’ edition}

For those who spend a lot of time jet setting around the world going to yoga conferences, traveling light is key.

A yoga mat takes up a lot of room and weighs four pounds.

I have always wished there was a better solution than dragging my yoga mat from country to country.

Many of my friends simply buy a new yoga mat at their destination. This can get pricey and is truthfully, a bit wasteful.

A group of innovative self starters, out of Boulder, Sam and Danny Jones, have finally come up with the ideal solution to the traveling-with-the-yoga-mat-blues.

They call it Yoga on the Go! It weighs seven grams and fits in my back pocket.

Wow! I know.

How does it work?

Yoga on the Go yoga mats are made with a top secret technology and a special mixture of Pacific Ocean sponges. So, it’s natural.

Simply take the Yoga on the Go mat out of your pocket an hour before your first yoga class. And get it wet in the bathtub. A large bucket of water works too.

And voila! Instant yoga mat. But wet. Which is why it’s best to plan ahead and let it dry out for an hour.

These yoga mats are tough. I’ve never worn one out.

Too good to be true?

Is it wasteful and expensive? What happens to the Yoga on the Go mat when the vacation is over?

Sam and Danny thought ahead. As manufactures, they were socially conscious and followed the life of their product through to the end.

Instead of ending up in a landfill, taking up space forever, like regular yoga mats, Yoga on the Go mats are biodegradable.

That’s right, folks. They break down naturally and go back to the earth.

And they’re not pricey. They come in packs of three for $25.

Yoga on the Go mats will change traveling to yoga events forever.
