Let the Light In. {Poem}

 Light

Do not repair your cracks,

Leave them be.

They add to your character,

Rather than diminish it.

Tend to them gently,

For they are your wounds.

But do not try to seal them up,

Or conceal their presence.

The cracks, they show your vulnerability,

Your humanity.

They will be important reminders,

And help you to not invite the same wounds again.

They will allow healing,

Which can only happen from within.

So treasure these fissures,

These seeming imperfections.

Because the cracks,

They let the light in.
