The key to it all?
I have no idea.
But I think it starts with these things.
A good book on a sunny day.
Hot, dark coffee.
Tight skin from a sea breeze.
Music that makes you feel.
Carrying on. Even when you fall.
Sleep. More at night and sometimes after lunch.
Being brave enough to say what you want to say. Not what people want to hear.
Long walks on dark beaches.
Star spotting under a wool blanket.
Realising a pet has done more for you than a human ever has.
Comfy and enriching routine.
Smiling. With your eyes again.
Loving. With your heart again.
Let’s start there.
And not worry about the rest just yet.
