The moment that little jumping bean popped up on the screen with his heartbeat and his little round nose, I was in love.

I can remember both my baby’s scans in every detail. I was watching in such awe, and some disbelief (even the second time) that these little beings were growing inside me.

But what if you couldn’t see your baby? Ever.

This mom’s doctor had the most ingenious and touching solution. It brought tears to my eyes and a deep appreciation for the sight of my own children’s faces. I think I might just gaze a little longer at them before I go to bed tonight.
